Advanced Care Animal Hospital

Established in 1949, Michigan City Animal Hospital cares for pets in greater LaPorte County and beyond.  Our complete care facility has grown from a small clinic to a full scale veterinary hospital, including three doctors and a staff of twenty-two. Our facility is a full service hospital able to provide for your pet's continuing good health and happiness. We offer boarding, grooming, and puppy training in addition to medical care. Michigan City Animal Hospital is among only 14 percent of animal care facilities in the nation certified by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). AAHA is the world's leading association of small animal practitioners. To achieve AAHA distinction, our hospital passed comprehensive inspections of our veterinary practice, management, facilities, and medical equipment and is evaluated on a regular basis. To keep up with the growing wealth of knowledge in veterinary care, our veterinarians and support staff participate in continuing education and training on a regular basis. We will continue to meet AAHA's rigid standards to provide the highest quality medical and surgical care for small animals in Northwest Indiana.
