Individual’s schedule will be 35-40h/wk. Must be able to work flexible hours that vary from week to week, M-F and Sat.
Applicants are preferred to be a high school graduate and have 2 years experience of providing excellent client service in a high paced environment. Additional education and training is a plus.
Specifics of working in a veterinary hospital will be trained. Duties will focus on reception in our waiting room and include, but are not limited to, greeting clients, checking in patients, marketing beneficial products and services, preparing hospital forms, filing records, relaying information to our medical staff, verifying accurate record keeping, taking payments, phone reception, and daily cleaning.
This is an high pace advanced care hospital and requires the level of attention to detail and care to be expected from a top medical facility.
Similar to a hospital nurse, Veterinary Assistants help the doctors and technicians with various medical tasks such as collecting samples, preparing labwork, and record keeping. (*Being an AAHA accredited hospital, more critical tasks such as reading lab results and giving injections are reserved for Registered Veterinary Technicians)

Kennel Assistants are responsible for walking and interacting with the pets boarding at our facility, as well as cleaning the kennel and other hospital areas. The successful candidate for this position must be detail oriented, take pride in a job well done, and of course love animals.
The position can optionally be full-time with full benefits (health insurance, paid time off, retirement plan, etc.) or part-time without benefits. The schedule requires various shifts, weekends, and holiday hours to be spread between all kennel employees. Because fo the nature of our business shift schedules change from week to week.
The ideal candidate must be a team-player but also enjoy work on their own. The position involves a lot of cleaning of the hospital facility, bathing of the dogs, and strong communication with co-workers and supervisors.
Other responsibilities include feeding, walking, and general non-medical care of the patients. No experience required, but is a plus. We will provide on-site training.
