" I literally drive all the way from Chicago to have my dogs cared for by the team at Michigan City Animal Hospital — it's worth the trip. The doctors bring an incredible depth of knowledge and, just as importantly, real compassion to everything they do. They never rush me, they patiently answer my (many!) questions, and even though they’re clearly busy, they’re always accessible when I need them. That level of care is rare. And it’s not just the doctors. Every single person — from the nurses to the front desk staff — is exceptional. Kind, organized, thoughtful, and genuinely invested. MCAH doesn’t just feel like a vet’s office. It feels like a team that truly has my back and is wholeheartedly looking out for my pups.
